Full-time caretakers maintain roads, private airstrip, two deep-water docks and other community facilities. Amenities also include sports court, upland boat storage and RO water (hookup fee paid). Water taxis serve the island from Anacortes multiple times daily. Broadband is currently being installed on the island.
