Sitting high on Scenic Hill, this private estate has a separate carriage home complementing this historically significant home. The original owner/builder, Sam Crockett (relative of Davy Crockett) came here in 1844 making him one of the first pioneers (it wasn’t even Washington yet – Oregon Territory). Moved to Kent, WA in 1890 and built the first home on Scenic Hill. Known for building fine homes, this was his last. Wood for the house came off the property. It was originally a 4 acre Estate. House sold in 1905 when it was titled. Four owners since Sam Crockett, the current owner being Howard Leese, guitarist for Heart for 22 years, and for Bad Company for 22 years.
